Types of Tokens

Sonica facilitates the issuance and management of a variety of digital tokens, each designed to meet specific investment objectives and represent different asset classes.

Our platform supports the issuance of Receivables Tokens, Crowdfunding Tokens, Precatório Tokens, and Real Estate Tokens.

Receivables Tokens

Receivables tokens are a digital representation of debts and credit rights that companies have to receive. They are backed by tangible financial assets, such as invoices or sales contracts. On Sonica, an example of use would be a company looking to advance its revenues by issuing tokens that represent its receivables. Investors purchase these tokens, providing working capital to the company, and eventually receive the face value of the asset when the original debt is paid.

Crowdfunding Tokens

Crowdfunding tokens on Sonica enable startups or projects to raise capital directly from a broad investor base. For example, an innovative tech startup might issue tokens to finance the development of a new software. Investors who acquire these tokens expect to participate in profits or receive other benefits as the project grows and reaches its financial milestones.

Precatório Tokens

Precatórios are debt securities that the government owes to citizens or companies following a final judicial decision. By tokenizing precatórios, Sonica allows holders of these securities to transform them into tradable assets. A precatório holder can issue tokens corresponding to the owed amount, offering them to investors seeking opportunities with guaranteed government returns.

Real Estate Tokens

Real estate tokens represent a fractional ownership in properties. They democratize real estate investment, allowing participation in real estate projects with smaller investments than would be required for direct purchase. For instance, a construction company can use Sonica to issue tokens for a new residential development, giving investors the chance to capitalize on the potential appreciation and rental income.

Each type of token is built on a solid legal and regulatory framework, ensuring Sonica users a safe and compliant operation. With Sonica, entry into the token market is simplified, and investors can choose assets that align with their portfolio strategies and return expectations.
